So this is about black hat outreach. Lmao. Black hat, but whatever. You know, when people don’t understand something, they think it’s magic. I do want to introduce you, though, to the idea of outreach at Scale, because I want you to think about the math of growth. Like, how many people do we need to talk to in order to get one new member? Once we introduce ourselves, how strong does our message need to be?
So I want to talk about outreach at scale tools. And there are a lot of these. Like, what if you need to talk to a thousand people? You know, what if you need.
How do you do that? You know? And you’ve also got to remember that the more people that you reach, the more broad your messaging has to be. So you may be just sort of in a mix between having very specific, specific messaging that’s targeted at a very specific group of people. Like, understanding how this scale works is something that it’s just strategic and something that comes with experience. But I want you to understand what these tools are. There are tons of them.
I’m just gonna show you what three or four of them are. First of all, LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a very big tool. I mean, think about, like, our. A lot of the time, you don’t just need people, you don’t just need human beings to run an organization, but you need a specific skill set or a specific knowledge set. And you go there, you go to a meeting, you talk to your friends. What do we have here? Does anybody know, anybody that can help us?
And then you and your free friends, they’re like, no. And then that’s like the end of the conversation. That’s not very inspiring. But this helps us create focused circuit searches. It helps us have more targeted outreach. And, you know, if you can save a list, you can have that list saved in your Sales Navigator. So that, for example, in Sales Navigator, you can specify if somebody started a new job, and if somebody started a new job, you can have it alert and then you can have it set by location.
So if you want people who are starting a new job in an accounting firm in the suburbs of Atlanta, and they’re at a small company, which is less than 10, people, like, you can really adjust it to that level of detail. Instabot Pro is another tool this automates Instagram outreach. So mass DMs, mass follow ups, mass engagement, you can reach more people with invitations and messages about upcoming events. And when you customize that initial message, you can have, like, a more personal feel, really, for any bulk message. The paradox is it’s actually much more in need of preparation. I’m going to come back and talk about that. Text messages are a big part of what makes an organization run.
Twilio helps you send personalized messages to many contacts at once and that uses text message reminders for both events and calls to action. Just keep your text short is my number one piece of advice. You can also send voicemail drops and this helps you send voicemails directly to people without calling their phone. And that’s good for making like a personal message about an event or giving an update. And you know, it’s, it’s great for messages where you’re not asking for anything. You know, just telling somebody, hey, there’s a new newsletter or hey, come to a meeting or hey, we’ve got a new episode of something for you to watch. Just make sure that whatever it is that you’re doing, it is just something that an average person would really want to be associated with.
That’s way above the line of like something being a spam or a bulk message or something. Yeah, authenticity.
Don’t get cussed out. Try to have messages that provide value and also do prep know who you’re talking to. Don’t make that list of who you’re sending to in a rush. And if anything, if you’re messaging a group of you people, you need to be more careful about your messaging. You know, if you’re talking to 50 people who are all dentists who just started a new job in the suburbs at small dental companies this year, that will apply to so many people in a way that’s so specific. So think about who your message is and who it’s for. All right?
And that’s the power of scale. This, this video is not really meant to be walked by throughs of all of these tools. But however, I do want you to understand what the idea of a bulk outreach tool is. Even having that understanding puts you ahead of so many. So congratulations. And that’s really all about reach. And we’ve walked you through it over time.
